Election 2008 flash widget thingy!

I bought the Samsung LN37A330 37-inch 720p LCD HDTV
. Pretty good TV and I got it at an awesome price (just over $700).

However, as of about 1:30PM eastern, the site seems to be down. It's very unusual for a company/network like Amazon to be down this long and to even have that type of outage. At the very least, you'd get some clever 404 page that was really the company logo and an apology. I hope my order doesn't get screwed up...

So, I decided to start a blog. No big deal. I intend for this to focus on my random interactions with various forms of technology. I'm a geek and a nerd and I've got this insane urge to tinker with everything. Hopefully, this blog will be of use to someone who's beating their head against the wall trying to get something work or just stumbles across this and finds something new about what they already have.

Just as a random thought to begin this blog in the wrong direction, I've decided that Doritos + Ruffles = sour cream & onion potatoe chips. I bag of said formulated mix recently found it's way into my life. Ever since then, I can't help but think about how much it takes like sour cream and onion.
